The online dating site YourSecretHookup.com presents itself on its home page with a somewhat hectic design. The wildly chaotic pictures of members who serve as the background are, in our opinion, not the right choice. Also, the actual preview of some members does not make a good impression. From the beginning, we have the feeling that we have seen most of the faces on several other dating sites.
We do a Google picture reverse test, and our suspicion is confirmed that the profiles are fake. After a look at the terms and conditions, we know who the operator is. It is Tourmalinas LTD, located in Nicosia, Cyprus. The company is known for the use of fake profiles and high-tech computer chatbots. The bad reputation of the website and the operator precedes them.

The preview of a massive member area and the fact that the website YourSecretHookup.com is also available as a mobile application does not improve the first impression. Even the alleged good testimonies by members cannot convince. We start our research and find some facts about the dating portal. There are about 10,000 members in Australia, 3000 of them are said to be active per week. The majority of the members are older than 25 years, and most of them have access to the site via their mobile.
The registration is easy and fast. You need to be at least 18 years old and have a valid email address. Couples can register together. The design of the main page is tidy and very user-friendly. There are standard functions and features like favourites, friends, direct message and instant messages.
But all this cannot hide the fact that the YourSecretHookup.com site is a lousy rip-off
Shortly after the registration, the new member is swamped with countless messages. We read on the Internet reports from former customers that they received more than 50 in only ten minutes. No wonder, because all these messages were sent by high-tech chatbots to encourage the newcomers to buy premium subscriptions. Only with these subscriptions can you use the full range of the site, like replying to messages. The site also uses fake profiles and moderated chats to encourage naive customers to make expensive upgrades.

Unfortunately, this kind of rip-off is no exception nowadays. Due to the boom in dating sites, more and more operators are using cheap tricks to rip people off. The company Tourmalinas LTD located in Nicosia, Cyprus is one of them. Besides the site Your SecretHookUp.com, they run several other online dating portals. All of them are a rip-off. This assessment is confirmed by a large number of bad tests and statements we could find on the net.
