The landing page of TeasingMate.com makes a decent impression and gives us a good feeling about the dating site. Apparently, we can sign up for free and get in touch with many other members. While the registration is free of charge, TeasingMate.com is not a particularly active dating site. It is fun and easy to interact with other people on here, but they are not real.
We want to know who is operating TeasingMate.com to make our research easier. We stumble upon a company who we are quite familiar with. Gate Switch Development BV, operates a big network of scam sites. They all work the same way. They appear to be genuine dating sites but turn out to be fake chat scams. In several reviews, we have already shared our experience with this company based in Deventer, in the Netherlands. Judging by several user reviews, we are not the only ones who are not satisfied.

5.3. Gate Switch Development B.V. explicitly reserves the right to send messages on teasingmate.com through self-created profiles. These are fictitious profiles with which no physical agreements are possible.
This is how Gate Switch Development BV tricks its users
Right after signing up, you receive several messages from interesting members. What seems like a dream come true, is in fact part of the scam. The other members are not real, they are moderated fake profiles. This means that the operator creates fictitious profiles and lets moderators, also called fake chat operators, control them. This is not just a suspicion. There is evidence for the existence of fake profiles in the terms and conditions.
The operator of TeasingMate.com wants the moderators to interact with the users. The users receive tempting messages to keep the conversations going. On TeasingMate.com users must buy virtual “credits”, which are needed to send chat messages. The more messages they send, the more money they spend. The moderators make this site a rip-off.
