Report for SweetyDate.com review

SweetyDate.com advertises with a solid offer. On the landing page we see some good-looking profile pictures. Free registration is offered as well. After some extensive research on the internet, we discovered that the portal does not have a good reputation. It is a very low trust score. Former users had a bad experience with the site. We found reviews about a fake chat scam.

Now, chat operators are employed by the company who runs the site. However, it seems that they do not actively lure users to a chat. We were not able to prove the use of fake chats. Even if the profiles on the landing page do appear fake, we found hints for something else. Costs will ensue after registration. A premium-membership is needed to chat, which appears to be a subscription rip–off. The operator of the site is West-East Information Technology Company, which is based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Details on the SweetyDate.com review

The online dating portal SweetyDate.com gives a good first impression. On the landing page, we see the screen for free registration. Additionally, the process of registration takes a few minutes only and is easy as pie. It appears that many people have joined this website already. The landing page shows a big selection of profile pictures which looks very promising.

All the profiles show female members. Of course, those profiles make clear that this website offers high chances to find a date. Also, we found some general information about the site and its offer. The operator of the site is West-East Information Technology Company, which is based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Fake profiles on the landing page

SweetyDate.com appears to be a solid choice. The portal claims to have many members in Australia. On the landing page, we see a big selection of profiles pictures, which create a very promising first impression. Those profiles look fake. These profiles show very attractive women. As we see it, those profiles look more like they belong to professional models. Also, we did some research on the internet. We found quite a few reviews about a fake chat. Former users had the impression that the profiles in the members´ pool were fake.

We checked the dating portal’s online legal information. Unfortunately, we were not able to find any notes about regarding fake chats. According to the legal information, chat moderators are employed to ensure a solid use of the website. In a nutshell, a proof of a fake chat scam is missing. We cannot prove the impression of former users. The negative experience former users had was reason enough to skip this website. Plus, we found proof of another kind of scam.

The subscription is a trap

The registration is free, then costs will ensue. A user needs a premium-membership to read and send messages. As we see it, the paid membership is not worth a dime. First of all, we had the impression of fake profiles on the landing page. Second, former users report a fake chat. Last but not least, we found reviews about a subscription trap. The subscription for the premium-membership extends automatically if the user does not terminate it on time. Also, a trial membership will be offered which is the actual trap.

On the internet, we found some negative reviews about the site. In general, the reputation of the site is bad. The bad reputation is enough reason to avoid this portal. Anyway, former users explain that a trial membership will be offered. This kind of membership appears to be a good choice. However, it is a cheeky trap. It cannot be terminated. In the end, it will renew to a normal premium-membership afterwards. This is the real rip–off.

The conclusion from our SweetyDate.com review

SweetyDate.com is a ripoff with a subscription trap. Costs will occur after the registration. The user needs a premium-membership which is not worth a dime. Also, a trial membership will be offered which is a cheeky trap. It renews automatically if the user does not terminate it in time. The problem is that it cannot be terminated. Additionally, we found some reports about a fake chat. Former users on the site were not satisfied at all.
