    Report for SteamyPlay.com review

SteamyPlay.com advertises a high number of active members. But we did some research and read about fake profiles which are managed by bots. This site uses automated messages to stimulate new users into a chat.

A user of the site will have to pay a lot of money to send messages. Every sent message will only reach a fake profile. Any conversation will be held with a chatbot. That is mentioned on the landing page which is the only good thing. So, users have the chance to spot that important note before the registration. The operator of this online dating website is Ancient District Limited which is based in Braintree, UK.

    Details on the SteamyPlay.com review

SteamyPlay.com looks great on the first view. On the landing page we see a big selection of profile pictures that look good. Plus, we see a number that shows the active users. It seems that this portal has got a lot of users. The general offer of the site does sound quite good. We read about free registration and that it is possible to meet new people on a daily basis. The only thing to do to enjoy the great service of the site to register. That does sound good until you read a note on the landing page. The operator of the site explains that this site uses virtual profiles which will send you automated messages. So, the profiles on the site are not real. Plus, your personal data will be shared with third-parties.

The second impression is not good at all

The online dating portal looks good and promising. But that good impression stays only until you read a particular note. That note is displayed on the landing page under the screen for registration. There we read about computer generated messages and virtual profiles. So, the members´ pool of the site is filled with fake profiles. Of course, it is still some kind of scam with a fake chat. However, it is good that the operator shows that note on the homepage. This way, people who visit the site can see this note before registration. So, we cannot claim that the operator advertises with misleading information.

However, the chance to find a real match on this site is still zero, as we see it. Despite all this, the site advertises with a high number of active users. We assume that the “more than a million members” is made up, or it is the number of fake profiles.

This site is full of fake profiles

After the registration is done, a new member will receive a lot of attention from other profiles. Those profiles are fake. They are virtual profiles which is nothing else but fictitious. Of course, it is not possible to meet a fictitious person. Those virtual profiles are used to stimulate new users into a chat. For that chat, the user must pay. Costs will occur for a premium-membership which is charged as a subscription. If a user did not read the note on the landing page or the terms and conditions, this person will unknowingly pay for a chat with a fake profile.

Here is the excerpt from the terms and conditions about the computer-generated messages and chatbots

You further acknowledge and agree that, other than posts and content generated by Automated Profiles, We have absolutely no control over the nature of any User Content.

We did some research on the internet. We found a lot of negative reports about bad experiences with the site. Also, the operator gets a lot of criticism. This is not the only portal managed by this company but one of many. The tricks are always the same. Moreover, the operator creates a second income by selling your personal information. That is also noted on the landing page. Still, that does not make anything better.

The conclusion from our SteamyPlay.com review

SteamyPlay.com is a scam with a fake chat. The operator of the portal notes the use of virtual profiles on the landing page. Also, there we read about the sharing of our personal data. On this site, you can only have a chat with a fictitious profile. A date in real-life is impossible. Even though that is noted on the landing page, it does not change this fact.
