Report for SteamyMatches.com review

Somehow, we feel a little bit sent back to the late 90s, and this is clearly due to the design of the online dating portal SteamyMatches.com. The visitor lands on the homepage and is greeted by a stupidly grinning pretty boy with a blonde.

We scroll to the bottom of the page and learn that the site is managed by Theme Bow LTD. The operator is based in East Sussex, UK and is considered a bit of a black sheep in the online dating scene. They are known for ripping off their customers mercilessly. They succeed with a moderated chat, fake profiles and sometimes with subscription traps. We read numerous reports from former members who complain about this lousy scam.

Details on the SteamyMatches.com review

The homepage of the dating site SteamyMatches.com is not very enticing. Neither the colour scheme nor the tiny preview of the member area makes you want more. We have no idea how the site could improve our lives and what the site guarantee of 100% means. We lose the last bit of desire when we look at the small print on the start page. Here, you have to accept the terms and conditions of the site if you want to create a profile.

This is the first hint that the site is a rip-off. The operator Theme Bow LTD from England uses computer generated virtual profiles. So, we are dealing with a moderated, fake chat.

Since we know that the operator uses computer-generated profiles and moderators, we are not surprised to receive countless messages. All are requests to chat, which of course is not free. For this, the member must upgrade his account with an expensive membership. These memberships are not only costly but also challenging to cancel. They also renew automatically for one month at a time. Many former members can sing a song about this rip-off.

The conclusion from our SteamyMatches.com review

The dating website of the English provider Theme Bow LTD is nothing more than a colossal rip-off. As usual for this company, they use computer generated virtual profiles and moderators with fake profiles on this portal. With this and misleading information, he leads the customers purposefully into expensive membership traps.

Updates

17.01.2024

Nothing has changed when it comes to the platform’s landing page. However, the site no longer belongs to Themes Bow LTD. It has changed hands and is now the property of Cyprus-based Tolicu LTD. The operation remains the same, though. SteamyMatches.com continues to be a fake chat scam that uses automated profiles to lure users into buying credits. In addition to the regular credits, which users can buy at any time, there is a subscription model.

Members are charged regularly in this arrangement and receive the number of credits specified in the package. Users should avoid the platform because it offers no value for money.

Steamymatches.com is a complete rip-off site. I accidentally joined when being redirected to another site. There are numerous photos taken from various porn and social media sites. Some are just escorts who provide you with an email address, but they are the ones used by escorts/pro services. The address posted may be different than the one listed in the personal monologue. I have reported so many fake/stolen photos to the site. But they are never removed. When I try to report them again, I am told I have already reported it. I sent an email to support yesterday complaining about a recent fake found on 63 porn sites. Today, I received an email from support stating that my account was deleted and could not be reloaded. I sent a thank-you note indicating it had been an entire waste of time anyway with fake profiles and generated messages. They are not a friendly bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
