They use a background image of a young, attractive woman, lightly dressed, in a sensual pose. Registration is free, as on most of these platforms. You only provide an email and date of birth. With this minimal information, the website begins to bombard you with information and subscription offers.

Once inside, we soon realise that most of the profiles seem suspicious. There are not many. Also, some of the women would never even say that they are Australian. Interaction is impossible without buying “credits.” These facilitate messages and contact with other profiles. Unfortunately, the vast majority of these profiles are fictitious. They are created by the company for a fake chat scam.

Fictitious interaction

The profiles are created by the company, or employees. They are controlled by a fake chat operator, or moderator. This is a rip-off. Users are talking, or exchanging messages, with someone who does not exist. Of course, any type of physical contact is completely ruled out.

SpicyLocalHookups.com reserves the right to charge you an extra fee once you have become a member and have begun to pay for credits. There are no refunds if you finally manage to unsubscribe. This is not easy, since they only provide an-email. The subscription can be automatically renewed against your will.

Once you have made a purchase, you authorise them to charge you through your chosen payment method. You agree to promptly pay all amounts due, upon demand. In the event that you refuse the recurring payments, they reserve the right to charge you a $3.00 inconvenience fee. We found several dissatisfied users who claim that the site had taken significant sums of money from their account, without their consent. This is a subscription rip-off method. We suspected this after reading the Terms and Conditions.

We only know that they belong to Internet Services. In our experience, this is a big warning sign of a possible scam. Lack of clarity and transparency is never a positive thing with this type of domain.
