They claim to be the best dating platform for both those looking for an experience in a long-lasting relationship and those looking for even just one night of pleasure. The homepage has a minimalistic look and after a brief description, there is an invitation to register for free. As we will see in this review, we found elements that make us suspect a subscription rip-off.
The procedure to finalise the registration is very short. Just enter your details and the characteristics of your ideal partner. That’s all. However, the company FBM Online Connections LTD located in Greater London, UK, is not reliable. If users want to chat, they have to pay for a membership, which is where the scam is hiding. Purchasing a premium subscription will result in an automatic re-bill, and cancellation will be far from simple.

SingleParentDating.net.au is a dating site designed for single parents looking for like-minded people with whom to share experiences, regardless of the desired type of relationship. Being a single parent is certainly not easy, and an ad-hoc dating site could save us time by selecting the people who best match with us. In short, this platform would seem to meet all our expectations. However, be careful not to fall for the scam. By continuing to read the review, you will understand how to identify a subscription rip-off.
The interface of the landing page has a professional look. Immediately from the overall presentation of the site, we found the box for free registration and a small disclaimer at the bottom of the page. After reading the written disclaimer, we immediately noticed that the free registration will not offer many functions, and above all, we wouldn’t be able to use the chat feature. If we want to use the site to its full potential, we will be forced to purchase a premium membership. As we can see in the Terms & Conditions, the rip-off begins right after subscribing.

[…] Please note that WE USE AN AUTOMATIC RE-BILL CYCLE ACCORDING TO YOUR SELECTED PAYMENT OPTION. When you purchase a one-month or shorter subscription to the Site, unless you cancel such membership at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to its expiration, your subscription will automatically renew at the then current monthly subscription rate.
You must cancel your subscription at least twenty-four (24) hours before your monthly anniversary date to avoid being charged for another month of subscription fees[…]
The technique used by the company
FBM Online Connections LTD located in Greater London, UK has structured the whole platform in a non-transparent way to make it as difficult as possible for us to cancel our subscription. In this way, they will earn as much time as possible to get as much money from you. Let’s go into the details of the Terms & Conditions.
In the first phase of registration, they do not explain that there will be an automatic renewal. This is not all because we must also be aware that if we do not request a cancellation 24 hours before the month expires, the cancellation will not be valid. Also, this part is not easy. To unsubscribe, it will be necessary to personally send an email to their mailbox by entering your data and requesting cancellation. As you may have guessed, the actual cancellation time may exceed 24 hours, as it will depend on them.
