OzzieFlirts.com claims to be an online dating portal with thousands of active members. The homepage of this platform advertises that registration is simple and free. All you must do is sign up, to get unlimited access to the site’s features. The example profiles include photos of attractive women, and the website is nicely designed. This makes it seem like a great place to match and meet with local singles.
Unfortunately, we found that OzzieFlirts.com is not as great as it seems. We discovered that this dating portal is a fake chat scam. The website misleads you into thinking that it is free to use, when in fact, it is quite expensive to unlock the chatting features. Also, this website is full of fake profiles. The likelihood of finding real dates here is extremely low. The operator of this platform is Gate Switch Development BV, based in Middelburg, in The Netherlands.

Though OzzieFlirts.com looks like a promising dating portal on the surface, our review found that it is a fake chat scam. Using the features of this website is not free, despite what users are led to believe. As we also found out that this portal contains many fictional profiles, we deemed this website to be a rip-off.
Expensive virtual currency
Using the features of this dating site comes at a high cost. If users want to reply or send messages to one of the attractive-looking profiles, they must purchase a bundle of “credits.” This is the portal’s virtual currency. Each message you want to send will require credits. Therefore, members could find themselves spending huge amounts of money, in just one or two conversations.
In our experience with the operator of this website, we have seen them employ identical chat scams on their other sites. They lead users to believe that their services are free, when they are very costly. This operator is Gate Switch Development BV, from Middelburg, in The Netherlands. We have given them many poor reviews in the past for their fake chat scams.
Fictional profiles
We looked at the Terms of Service and found that OzzieFlirts.com admits to using fictive profiles and fake chat operators. Though this is outlined in the terms, this fact would be easy to overlook, and many users would assume that this is a dating site, not an entertainment service. This is quite misleading. It means that this website is a rip-off because users are required to spend large amounts of money, to chat with fake profiles. Since users are not sufficiently informed about this, this website is a scam.
The terms explain that false profiles are marked by a “heart icon”, so that users can easily distinguish which accounts are run by fake chat operators. Though we saw that this icon is present on the fake accounts, it would be very difficult for the average user to recognize it. If a user did not read through the Terms of Service, it would be almost impossible for them to recognize fake profiles.

From our experience on this website, we found that it contains fictional profiles, with whom users have no chance of meeting. Sending messages here is expensive. So, users will spend money to talk to fake chat operators. Overall, we concluded that this website is a rip-off and a scam.

OzzieFlirts.com has not changed most of its aspects, except the homepage photo. The operating company has adopted a new, less flirtatious image, to make the website more professional and appealing. However, it is still managed by Gate Switch Development BV, from The Netherlands. From our experience, this operator is fraudulent, and runs various fake chat scams. The platform’s Terms of Use admit that this site is only for flirting and entertainment.
They use fictitious profiles to engage clients and lure them into costly premium services. This website still continues to operate a fake chat scam, to rip off members. Anyone intending to use these services should think twice, and totally avoid this site.
