Report for Over60.dating review
The dating portal Over60.dating advertises with free registration and the prospect of finding mature singles living nearby. We didn’t even have to take a look at the imprint to know which operator was in charge. Over60.dating is operated by Date4Friend AG. The company headquartered in Zug, Switzerland runs numerous scam dating sites that all look the same. In previous reviews, we already revealed how the operator gets a hold of the users’ money. Unsurprisingly, this one here is a rip-off as well.
It might seem surprising that the Swiss operator runs so many active dating services. However, the dating portals owned by Date4Friend AG aren’t so popular after all. It is a difficult task to find any user reviews about the operator’s dating portals. Most of the members are made up and only function as a tool to lure the clueless users into a subscription trap. This is also the case here.

Details on the Over60.dating review
The landing page of Over60.dating is simple and easy to use. We didn’t get to learn anything about this portal, until a pop-up window appeared out of nowhere. Apparently, we can find genuine members and write messages for free. After doing enough research, we knew that this is not completely true. The free chat functions are very limited. In addition, most of the other members clearly aren’t genuine. They are in fact, “fake chat” operators who have no good intentions whatsoever.
The company to blame for this is Date4Friend AG, from Zug in Switzerland. Before signing up on a dating portal, we always conduct online research. Interestingly enough, most of the dating services run by Date4Friend AG are completely unknown. The operator keeps on creating new dating portals to reach as many customers as possible. To make sure that the users have someone to chat with, fictive profiles are created.
The messages are fake, and so are the other members
Employees for the site are in control of these profiles, which is why they are often being referred to as “fake chat” operators. You can’t just chat for free on Over60.dating. You need a VIP membership in order to read messages and to converse with everyone. This is why the usage of fake profiles pays off for the operator. By providing the real users with fake messages, the “fake chat” operators manage to advertise for the expensive VIP membership.
The never-ending VIP membership
Since the VIP membership renews automatically, it is a subscription rip-off. In order to stop the automatic renewal, users are required to submit a cancellation request, 14 days prior to the end of the original term. In reality, it doesn’t really matter whether you cancel in time or not. According to several user reviews, the Swiss operator pays little attention to the cancellations. Many subscription rip-offs work that way.
The conclusion from our Over60.dating review
Our experience with Date4Friend AG so far has never been positive. At first, Over60.dating comes off as a great place to find mature singles. Unfortunately, the majority of the other members appear to be fake. They are generated and used to seduce the users in the chat. This is done to make purchasing the VIP membership more appealing. This membership is a trap and another reason why Over60.dating is a scam.
