At first sight, MyShagAholic.com, appears as a perfect option to get awesome dates. The registration is free and the process to register is easy. As usual, for our review, we read the terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we easily found out that the website is a scam and hides a subscription trap. After the registration, most services within the site require a paid membership. New users can send a limited number of messages for free. After that, they must pay for any additional message they want to send. Seeing more profiles or other users’ photos also needs a full membership.

The subscription trap

We read in the terms and conditions, as well as on the landing page, that they offer cheap trial subscriptions. Nevertheless, these subscriptions will renew automatically. Automatic renewal is not always a scam. But, as the trial membership is for 3 days, and the cancellation deadline is 72 hours, cancelling in time is just impossible. This is expressed clearly in the terms and conditions. This kind of subscription rip-off is all too common, and usually, getting out of these traps can be extremely difficult.

Since the operator, MyShagAholic.com, mentions the automatic renewal of all subscriptions in the terms of conditions, we recommend not registering on this website as it is a rip-off. The membership will be automatically renewed and cancellation may become a real headache.
