Moreover, the registration is free and the member profiles on the landing page look inviting and authentic. But after we have a closer look at the fine print information in the footer of the landing page, we cannot recommend you to register here. The site is a rip-off with a fake chat.
To be able to communicate with other members, users must pay a lot of money. But it is a total waste of money, as the member profiles are fictional and cannot be met in real life. The site’s operator is Gate Switch Development BV from Deventer, in the Netherlands. They try to hide this fact from its users, to get as much money as possible out of them. This company receives many negative reviews online, where they are well-known for several fake chat scams.

At first sight, MySexyLocal.com appears trustworthy and legit. The landing page is well-designed, the displayed profile pictures look inviting and authentic, and the offered features sound promising. Furthermore, the registration is free and can be done in no time. However, we cannot recommend anyone to sign up on this portal. In the footer of the landing page, we find some interesting information regarding the member profiles. It says that the website contains “fictive profiles” and that the site is for “entertainment” purposes only. Therefore, it is not possible to arrange a real-life date via this portal.
Shortly after the free registration, new users can find many enticing messages in their virtual mailboxes. Believing that these messages are sent by real people, with whom a date can be arranged, they are willing to reply as quickly as possible. But to be able to reply, they must pay. This way, users are tricked into spending a lot of money on the site, without ever having a realistic chance to arrange a date.

Extremely expensive
First, users have to buy so-called “credits”, which can later be exchanged for sending chat messages. Unfortunately, these “credits” are extremely expensive. Depending on which of the offered “credit”-bundles is chosen, each message costs between $1.95 and $2.60. The fact that these messages only ever reach a fictive person, these prices are outrageous. This site is clearly a rip-off. Sadly, users are not sufficiently informed about the fake chat. All relevant information regarding the fictive nature of the member profiles is purposely hidden in the fine-print and the terms and conditions.
The heart-icons, which are used to mark these profiles, are not satisfying either. They are easily overlooked and cannot be understood without additional explanation. The operator behind this scam is Gate Switch Development BV, which is based in Deventer, in the Netherlands. They are well-known on the internet, where they regularly receive negative reviews.

MySexyLocal.com is a rip-off with a fake chat and cannot be recommended at all. Users must pay a lot of money for using the chat feature. But they are not sufficiently informed about the fact that the member profiles are fake. The profiles are created and run by hired fake chat operators, who try to get as much money as possible out of each user. The site’s operator receives many negative user reviews online and cannot be considered trustworthy.
