This website is an excellent example, as it is a cheeky rip-off. The user gets tricked by wrong and irritating information on the landing page. After the registration, fake operators will do the rest.
The registration is for free. It is right, but the information is quite an irritation as, after registration, the user has to spend a lot of money to get in touch with others. To send messages, the user needs credits. Those credits are to buy in packages. The prices for one send message varies on the chosen package. But actually, it does not matter which package you will select as the website is a fake chat.
A fake chat dating website means that this portal is full of fake profiles. But not just some fake profiles. All profiles on the site are fake and operated by fake operators.

One first hint that this company is non-reputable is the location of its headquarters. The company is in Deventer in the Netherlands. It is a strange location for an Australian dating website.
Right after registration, the new member will receive a lot of messages from others. Those are messages of the fake operators. The fake operators won’t identify themselves as a fictitious person, and their profiles are not known as fake. So the user gets tricked all along the way.

I stopped using Mylocalflierts. Last contact was a woman from Norristown, GA - I am from area near Norristown, PA woman wasted a lot credits chasing me and we are about 900 miles apart. Without spending money to send her a message that she is wasting money trying contact as we are NOT local. And there is no way to contact the site to tell them of their error.
