The online dating portal MyDates.com advertises with a solid offer. However, after a little bit of research it turns out that this site is nothing more than a huge scam. The members’ pool of the platform is filled with fake profiles that are managed by fake operators.
Those fake operators will get in touch with a new member right after the registration. But they will not identify as a fictional person to trick a user. The user does not know about the fake chat and pays a lot of money to send messages. This site is operated by Boranu Online BV, located in Venlo, Netherlands.

MyDates.com looks great on the first view. This site might be a great place to look for a date if you are living in Australia. The online dating website advertises with a free registration and seems to have a lot of members all over the country. On the landing page we see a selection of profiles. This gives us the impression that the site has got a lot of members. Because the profile pictures look great, we assume that it will not be a problem to find a date here. Additionally, it seems that this is a great place to find a casual date.
The only thing required to find a match here is to register. Another great thing is that the registration is for free. The process of registration is simple and done in a few minutes.
The online dating website MyDates.com may advertise with a solid offer. However, we did some research on the internet and we found many negative reviews about the portal and its operator. So, we checked the terms and conditions, to find out why this site has got such a poor reputation. There, we found the proof that the site is a rip-off with a fake chat. The profiles on the landing page and in the members’ pool, are all a fake. A fake profile is managed by a fake operator to entice the user to a chat for which the user must pay.
Boranu uses professional animators and operators for the entertainment of the Users, who are not identified separately in the system. This Service is provided in the highest quality. Real meetings are not possible with these operators. Users can only send them messages within the portal.
A fake operator will get in touch with a new member right after the registration. But the fake operator will not identify as a fictional person, with whom a date in real-life is not possible. Also, a fake profile is not marked as such. So, a user gets tricked by wrong and misleading information on the landing page by the operator of the site. Later, the fake operators will do the rest. A new member of the portal assumes that all the profiles show real people with real interest.
The many messages that come from the fake operator entice the user to a conversation. For that conversation, a user must pay real money. That is the real reason why this site is nothing more than a huge rip-off.
Costs will originate for coins which are needed to send messages. The user has to buy the coins first, of course. In the end, every conversation here is senseless. A date will never happen. It is only possible to lose a lot of money here. That is also the opinion of the internet community about the site. We did some research and many people pointed out the cheeky fake chat and that it is not possible to find one real person here. All profiles are a fake and show fictional people. Additionally, we also found many negative reports about the operator of the site.
The company Boranu Online BV from the Netherlands operates a huge network of dating platforms which are all a terrible choice because they are a scam.

Undoubtedly a scam. Fake profiles, although can’t say for sure everybody is fake as surely other genuine people have been sucked in . Morally abhorrent. On top of this they took three payments on my card despite me authorising just one! Bank looking into but Police involvement likely. BEWARE BEWARE,

Yes, it seems to be a total scam. I pulled out early because it was so expensive, but I also realised that the replies often seemed bizarre and beside the point. I am currently trying to delete my account but their instructions on how to do this seem to lead nowhere. Part of the scam no doubt.

I was on the site for over a year and failed to have one date, they definitely play with your emotions and make you feel like they are real people that your speaking with. I hope one day they are caught and sent straight to jail. It also has effected me mentally.

Total rip off and expensive to boot: £4.99 to buy 190 coins, when sending a message will cost 50 coins. Plus all the over 50 profiles I looked at stated their education was high school diploma, which for women in their early 40s seemed unlikely.

Beware! MyDates sucks. MyDates (Boutique en ligne : Boranu) is a very professionally set up SCAM. As an dating site it draws money out of you, but never delivers any contact or meeting. Answers come from a store of ready made statements, often irrelevant. If they deem you dangerous they at once suck up your credit money dry to shut you up. They keep ladies and guys running for a carrot always out of reach. I wonder how they manage to keep such a huge stock of good ladies, albeit systematic disappointment. Be wise, stay clear of the MyDates’ SCAM. Attention! MyDates (Boutique en ligne : Boranu) est une arnaque très professionnelle. En tant que site de rencontre, il vous soutire de l'argent, sans jamais fournir de contact ou rencontre. Les réponses proviennent d'un stock de déclarations toutes faites, souvent hors sujet. S'ils vous jugent dangereux, ils soutirent d’un coup tout votre crédit pour vous faire taire. Ils font courir les dames et les gars après une carotte toujours hors de portée. Definitely a scam. One is conned into buying coins to chat with fictional people - (BOTS) BE AWARE. I have recentky found that more than 75% of of dating websites are scams. SO DO NOT sign up for any "free" memberships _ once they have your card details they will continue to suck money out if you in an unauthorized transaction. This also goes for Paypal where they do the same. I don't know how they do it. But buyer BEWARE. Even the so called reputable "Ashley Madison" site is a scam. I live in Australia & was continually getting hits from all over the world. Even though I specified a 50KM radius from my home.

It's scam it's scam, Keep away from Mydates.com! I have just learned that in the hard way. Registered on mydate.com as of today 10th March 2021 and as soon completed registration I received a handful of warm welcoming messages from different women who claimed to be from my own home town. I immediately engaged exchanging messages and after sending two or three messages they said I have no more credit and that I must buy coins. so, I rushed, brought forth my credit card and of course purchased some coins because one profile in particular caught mybmy attention and I had to get back on chat with her, so purchased coins for an amount of 49 DKK equivalent something around 6.59 Euro. After a while exchanging messages with that woman, I actually think I didn't sent more than four messages and again, its says that, I have used up my credit, so I purchased once again for 100 DKK. Which is around 13.45 EURO and got back on chat. After sending couple of messages its again says, I have no credit and from there its already became undoubtedly apparent to me that the profiles I'm engaging with are actually not reall. The way they reply to messages wasn't consistence which shouldn't be possible when chatting with a real living human being. I'm now asking my bank to see if those two transactions can be cancelled. I'm also considering reporting Mydate.com to the police for illegal practice.

yep it's a scam, send a message a few times and in less than a second i have a random reply. soon as you don't reply to a long conversation they never message back. stupid misleading conversations that go round and roud and burn up your money. when i asked how can you afford to pay for all these messages the reply was they feel secure. duds.

The second I joined mydates i was inundated with chats and visits - every profile i chatted to was fake - their language and behaviour was inconsistent through the chat and it often didn't match the profile including age. They became really defensive when I asked each one if they were real. They were very poor actors. I recon I was visited by at least 20 profiles and you could tell by their opening line they were on the payrole - 'my darling', 'baby', 'hansome'. 'cutie' etc. I laughed a lot when I started to realise what was going on and used my last couple of 100 coins to challenge them and have a bit of fun. At least two of the profiles were being worked by the same operator. I recon each operator is working multiple profiles cause sometime they would make a mistake and respond to in a chat with something totaly random. I even asked them for a job. But I think is very unethical because they are pretending to be something they are not and taking your money in the process.
