Report for LovingGranny.online review
LovingGranny.online is a dating website operated by Medialix LTD, a Cypriot company with its official business address registered in Nicosia. The website offers free registration to anyone with a valid e-mail address. This means that no in-depth verification is carried out on the individuals behind the registered profiles. Unfortunately, based on our experience with this online dating platform, our team can confidently state that LovingGranny.online is a scam.
This website appears to be a “fake chat” scheme where fictitious profiles play a central role. In fact, immediately after signing up, new users begin receiving a flood of messages from numerous profiles. However, to reply to any of these messages, users must pay 1.74 Australian dollars per message. Details on the LovingGranny.online review
As the name suggests, LovingGranny.online is a platform where users are supposedly able to connect with elderly ladies seeking companionship. If this platform was genuine, it would offer a valuable service to the community, especially as more people in their senior years seek meaningful relationships. Unfortunately, this site is a disappointment. It’s not the first time our team of experts has encountered a platform managed by Medialix LTD, a Cypriot company with its business address registered in Nicosia.
This company is notorious for its shady practices, particularly its use of fictional characters to operate fake chat schemes, but let’s take things step by step. Our experience on this platform began with a simple free registration process, requiring only a valid e-mail address to get a confirmation email we found in the spam folder with a verification link. Completing this gave us access to the members’ area. It didn’t take long before we started suspecting that many of the profiles might be fake. Therefore, we went straight to the Terms and Conditions of LovingGranny.online and here’s what we found:
Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 18/07/2025)
Article 3. Grams. The user should take that into account MEDIALIX LIMITED offers chats fictitious member profiles (called Grams) on its website. The uses was informed about this when he first visited the website. The Grams can have fictional conversations, role play or have other fictional communication with the user and other users of the website. Grams are deployed with the aim of stimulating interactions within the website and having conversations with users. The user agrees that all content originating from such Grams, information, texts and images are fictional and are only intended as entertainment. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is pure coincidence. No arrangements can be made with fictitious profiles. You can identify the Grams by the logo in the right hand corner of the profile picture in the profile
The “Grams”
The “Grams” are nothing more than fake profiles used by the platform to engage users and push them to exchange messages. While there’s nothing inherently wrong with offering virtual entertainment, this must be clearly disclosed, especially the fact that no real-life meetings will ever occur. Moreover, users are required to purchase coin packages in order to send messages, but the final cost per message of 1.74 Australian dollars is not made immediately obvious.
If a customer knowingly chooses to spend money chatting with a fictional character, that’s one thing. However, being misled into thinking they’re building a real relationship, possibly even arranging a meeting without any transparency, is something entirely different. That’s a rip-off, one that can harm users both emotionally and financially. In fact, the web is full of negative reviews from previous users who used this platform, complaining about the shady characteristic of Medialix LTD.
The conclusion from our LovingGranny.online review
Our team experienced great disappointment after using LovingGranny.online. Unfortunately, once again, the Cypriot company Medialix LTD confirms its reputation as being an untrustworthy company that operates online dating platforms with the goal to run scams on customers. They take advantage of their users by implementing a fake chat rip-off with the support of fake profiles. If you want to stay safe in the world of the online dating, please read our reviews and report any suspicious behaviour.
