Report for LoveAt50.com.au review
LoveAt50.com.au claims to be a legit online dating platform. But after conducting research on the internet, we found a lot of negative reviews. Former users were highly dissatisfied. And some allege this website is a cheeky scam. Its profiles are fictitious. A fake profile shows a fictitious person with whom a date in real life is not possible. Plus, these fake profiles are controlled by fake chat operators.
Fake chat operators will start a chat. While chatting, they will not inform the user that moderation is occurring. Their goal is to encourage new members to chat. The user has to purchase premium membership to reply. This form of paid membership appears to be a cheeky subscription rip-off. Automatic renewal is used to trap the user into recurring payment. The site operator is Alpha Internet Services GmbH, which is based in Innsbruck, Austria.

Details on the LoveAt50.com.au review
The online dating site LoveAt50.com.au looks like a good choice. This website has a nice appearance. But we spotted a huge problem as soon as we saw its landing page. This didn’t contain a single item of useful information. Well, we know registration is free. But this is obviously far too little. In our experience, transparency is the first indicator of how reliable a choice a website is. From this point of view, this website makes a very bad impression.
Bad reputation
Moreover, we did some research on the internet. While conducting our research, we found a lot of reviews about this site, all of which were negative. Former users had a bad experience using this site. Its reputation is dreadful. So we checked the portal’s legal information. It only took a short while before we found proof of a rip-off.
This website uses fake profiles. Fake chat operators control these fake profiles. They will start a chat. While chatting, the fake chat operators will not identify themselves as fictitious people. This is one problem. Another is that fake profiles are not marked as fake. In a nutshell, users do not know about moderation. So this platform is a cheeky scam with fake chat.
The following is stated in the Terms and Conditions
LoveAt50 makes every effort to ensure that the profiles shown in the matching list are only private users that adhere to LoveAt50´s rules of use. To ensure this with a high quality, LoveAt50 uses various technical as well as manual mechanisms to identify users/members with inappropriate behavior or unfair interests and, if necessary, to exclude them immediately. The user/member is also aware that LoveAt50 uses so-called animators to motivate users/members to communicate interactively. These are real people. However, the user / member is aware that he cannot meet the animators in real life.
The goal of moderation
According to reviews on the internet, it all starts right after registration. A new member receives a lot of messages from other members. Sadly, all profiles are fictitious. Real meetings are not possible, according to information on the internet. However, there is more. High costs will arise after registration. Paid premium membership is needed to chat. The subscription for this form of membership will be renewed automatically.
In principle, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But in practice on this site, automatic renewal is used as a trap. We found reports alleging a scam with a subscription trap. The site operator is Alpha Internet Services GmbH, which is based in Innsbruck, Austria.
The conclusion from our LoveAt50.com.au review
LoveAt50.com.au is a rip-off with fake chat and a subscription trap. The first sign of a bad website choice is poor transparency. But all profiles on this website are fake. A fake profile shows a fictitious person with whom a date in real life is not possible. These fake profiles are moderated by fake chat operators. The goal of moderation is to lure new members into a cheeky subscription trap.
Let us know your LoveAt50.com.au experience in the comments as well.
I’ve had exactly the same problem mentioned above. I have been contacted by fake profiles all replying with the same comments. In some cases the sentences are exactly the same – word for word. When you try to connect with the person by meeting up or even just a phone call the conversation just goes around in circles. Then to cancel your account subscription, you have to either fax or send a registered letter to do so. The fax numbers they give you simply don’t work. The registered mail must be received in Austria at least a month before the renewal date or it can’t be cancelled. What a load of bullshit. All other sites only require a click of a button or an email to cancel. They need to be shut down.
