LesbianMatchMaker.com.au can feel like a safe, comforting place to express yourself freely and look for the love you’ve always imagined. Sadly, when you open the T&Cs, your impression of the site will change. In the T&Cs, we found explicit evidence of paid subscriptions and how the cancellation policy works. There are three possible subscriptions: silver, gold, and premium. They can be purchased for a duration of 1, 3, or 12 months and offer different features. Only in the payment section for bank details is the automatic renewal policy stated, which can be cancelled at any time.
We can deny this “any time” claim, for in fact, as it can be seen in the Terms and Conditions that the cancellation must be made at least 5 days before the expiry date of your subscription. This is not indicated during the payment process and therefore the user is not aware of this time limit when entering their bank details. It is therefore not a truthful experience, but is indeed a subscription rip-off. The scam is really subtle to the point where users don’t notice it’s there until the very end. So, don’t be fooled.

13.1. If you choose to purchase a Premium Membership to our site such as Silver Gold and Platinum membership, then you must pay us our then current fee as set out on the site[…]
13.5. When you purchase a Premium Membership […], your credit card details will be stored either by our bank or gateway provider, or by PayPal, to allow automatic renewals.
13.6. To ensure an uninterrupted service, Premium Membership […] purchased via credit card will be automatically renewed a few days before they expire. […] You can remove or change your credit card details and cancel the automatic renewal at any time from the Payment Details page on the site.
13.7. If you do not wish to renew a Premium Membership m[…] then you must let us know either in writing or via the user console on the site […] not less than 5 days before the expiration of your Premium Membership.
A thin line can change the whole picture
As you can see, it is first stated that it’s possible to cancel at any time, but then we find the time limit of ‘not less than 5 days before.’ It’s only referenced in the T&Cs and if users don’t read it, they won’t realize until later it’s too late. We understand well that this is how the company makes money off unsuspected users. In addition, we found another unappealing element of the site: Checking to see if the user is 18+ occurs just when users upgrade or if they do a once-off payment and verification requires time.
Everything here looks like a rip-off. Immediate chats, and guaranteed profile verification to browse safely are all initial illusions operated by Giga Pty LTD, whose offices are in North Sydney, Australia.

By the end of our review, we found elements of distrust in the site LesbianMatchMaker.com.au. Eventually, we also found some negative reviews from users who have found charges on their credit cards. We advise you not to trust this site, and to pay extra attention, especially in the moment of payment, for the benefit of your financial security and enjoyment. There are other places online that are more trustworthy and transparent, where you can find new people and share values.

As before, this website informs users that they can cancel anytime. However, they only have five days to do so if they want to stop their auto-renewal subscription. There are no fresh negative critiques of the platform available online.
