KoreanDating.com.au, is a dating site that wants to offer something new and exciting. All those who looking for a Korean partner, have come to the right place. The site is operated by Online Connections Inc. This company is headquartered in Plantation, in the USA. This American operator runs a gigantic network, consisting of different dating sites.
You can sign up and use some of the site’s features for free. Unfortunately, the chat system is not one of these features. Only those who pay for their premium membership, can send messages in the chat. The trial membership is much cheaper, but it appears to be part of a subscription scam. You are only given a few days to cancel it. Should you fail to do so, you end up paying a lot of money.

According to the landing page, KoreanDating.com.au is the right place for fans of Korea, or anyone looking for a Korean experience. Furthermore, there is a basic membership, which is completely free. However, there is also a paid membership, which can be quite expensive. For this review, we decide to sign up. But later, we find out that there is nothing you can do as a basic member. Using the chat feature requires the premium membership. The trial membership is cheaper, but part of a subscription rip-off.
Once you sign up, you can enter the site’s members’ area. This is where we first start asking questions. None of the profiles that we encounter, have anything to do with South Korea. It feels like this site makes use of a profile database, which is shared by several different dating sites. Luckily, we can send flirts for free. Flirts are a selection of pre-written messages. These can be sent to start a conversation with any other member.
The paid membership options
We want to write our own messages. But now we find out, that all the messaging features are available only to premium members. To become a premium member, you must purchase a premium subscription, in the shop. All premium memberships renew automatically. This is also true for the trial membership, which only lasts 5 days. It costs you a bit more than a dollar per day. Should you fail to submit a cancellation, it rebills at 52.99 USD per month. This is a lot of money for a dating site that fails to connect you with Korean singles.
Are there any fake profiles?
Subscription rip-offs like this one are often full of fake profiles. In this case, we could not find any signs that might indicate a fake chat scam. The operator even promises not to condone the creation and use of fictive profiles. KoreanDating.com.au is operated by Online Connections Inc, from Plantation, in the United States. Technically, you can use KoreanDating.com.au for free. The only problem is that basic members have very limited options on this site. Premium members, who pay for their membership, are the only users who can use the chat feature. The cheap trial membership seems like the obvious choice. Unfortunately, it is part of a subscription scam, and quickly turns into a pricey subscription. Furthermore, there do not seem to be many Korean members here anyway. KoreanDating.com.au is not what Online Connections Inc makes it out to be.
