Our first impression of KissyFlirts.com is positive. The landing page is simple, friendly, and inviting. However, it does not provide much information. All we can see is a background picture of an attractive young woman, and a registration form.
As usual, we study the terms and conditions, and search for user reviews on the internet. Also, we create a free account and check all functions, features, and tools. During our research, we found out that this portal is a rip-off.
Expensive and dangerous
Singing up is easy, fast, and free. But unfortunately, the free basic membership turns out to be rather useless. All we can do is create a profile, use the basic search functions, and send so-called “winks” to other members. But to get full access to all features and to communicate properly with others, an expensive membership subscription is needed.
KissyFlirts.com operates an automatic renewal billing policy. This means that every subscription, when it expires, will be renewed automatically and continuously. Users, who are not aware of that, can quickly end up in a long-lasting subscription trap.
Fake message scam
To get new users to sign up for a paid membership subscription as fast as possible, KissyFlirts.com uses a cheeky trick. They use an automated message’s system, so-called chatbots, which sends fake messages to new users, right after their registration. To new users, these messages appear to be sent by real members. Therefore, they are willing to reply quickly. But to reply, they must purchase one of the expensive membership subscriptions first.
Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 22/07/2021)
We may from time to time offer users the ability to “Promote My Account” through Account Settings. Activating this service will mean that we will automatically broadcast custom messages created by any user, or selected from a default list of template messages, to other users. We reserve the right to select members to use the Promote My Account service. Sending of messages through this service will be free, however, recipients who view and choose to reply to a Promote My Account message, will require to have an upgraded Paid Membership in order to reply to the sender.
Real dates unlikely
Since the site and the members cannot be trusted, it seems highly unlikely to successfully find someone for a date here. Moreover, the site’s operator, UK-based Porticato Media LTD, is already well known for many other scam websites. They have numerous negative reviews online.
