The online dating website JustRooting.com advertises with free registration. The landing page gives us the impression that here we will find just the right match, and it shows some profile pictures of good looking people. Details on the JustRooting.com review

The dating website JustRooting.com advertises with free registration. Additionally, the landing page shows some profile pictures, so we could assume that those profiles show real people. There was no more information provided, so we checked the terms and conditions, plus we did some research on the internet. We entered the name of the operator in a search engine and found out that this company has a terrible reputation. On the internet are a lot of negative reviews about the operator.

The operator of JustRooting.com is the Paidwings AG. The company is located in Cham, Switzerland and is the operator of a whole network of dating portals. This one is just one out of hundreds. The tricks are always the same, only the design and name of the platforms vary a bit. In the end, the user gets trapped in a subscription for an expensive premium-membership.

Before the operator advertises with wrong in irritating information, the registration is for free, but after that, the website charges a lot of money. The costs originate by the subscription, credits or coins are not part of the rip-off. These scam start right after the registration.

The tricks with the trial membership

After the registration, a new member receives a basic-membership. This kind of membership is for free but useless, as with a free basic-membership, it is not possible to read or write messages. But the fake operators send more and more messages to the user who can’t read the content. This way, the fake operators entice the user to get a paid premium membership.

The operator offers a trial premium-membership that runs for 14 days. Sounds good, but the deadline to cancel it is 14 days as well. That means you can’t make the declaration of termination in time. Plus it is written in the terms and conditions that if they do not cancel in time, the subscription will extend automatically. Fake operators are not mentioned in the terms and conditions, but many reviews of former customers point out that all profiles look like a fake and act like they are operated.

The conclusion from our JustRooting.com review

The online dating website JustRooting.com is a subscription scam. The operator is well-known in the online dating business, and the tricks are always the same. The landing page shows irritating information. After the registration, the user gets enticed to buy a trial premium membership, but the subscription for it is a trap as it will extend automatically and will renew into a month-long membership.

I am in the same boat as everyone on this site , if we dont pay what can they do ?

I joined just rooting a few days ago and so far I’ve been contacted by 5 women, 4 of whom have tried to scam me and the 5th one I haven’t heard back from after warning her not to scam me! took out a month’s subscription but I’ve left myself a reminder to cancel 15 days before it renews. ,so let’s see if I’m successful. I’ve already made a complaint via replying to an email they sent to me but it was returned, seems they don’t like criticism. Oh well, more fool me, I might as well have a bit of fun with my last 3 weeks. One woman agreed to meet me if I gave her $36 ‘cos her younger brother needed to buy some hoses. Honestly, you couldn’t make it up. It’s a scam, pure and simple, wish I’d found that out before I forked out for a month’s subscription.

I have had the same as above I wish I did my research as the emails are annoying
Can they actually get money out of you ?

  5. Rickson 17th September 2022 at 6:07 pm

I have just unsubscribed. But after reading reviews I suspect that they will try and make me a victim of their scam as well. In case I don’t hear back from them, and they want to keep charging me, am I safe to just block my credit card and ignore the subsequent threatening mails that I assume I will get? I just want to make sure that there is no weird legal loophole that they can use to actually make me liable in any way?

Justrooting.com is a SCAM owned by Paidwings AG. The profiles are all fake with the same user name on KiK. I selected one month only , with in a few hours I realized that it was not as it seemed. I turned to google reviews and no surprise 1000s of bad reviews. I then learnt the only way to cancel your subscription was a fax number to the parent company Paidwings. A fax no one ever answered. I emailed the site admin nothing. They just keep billing. So I stopped my card , and I receive an email from their collections law firm! I also received a letter from a fake law firm in Germany claiming the 12 months I had signed up for. As someone that knows the law in Australia around the credit act I told the to go F##k themselves as their letter had no legal standing in this country nor had they abided by Australian credit consumer laws. If you have had a horny moment stop your card now , don’t worry about there letters of demand it’s not even a real law firm nor can you take someone to small claims court for under 500 dollars. Report this site to ACMA or in the US I think it’s the FCC for you guys. They are committing a criminal offense obtain funds by deception! Why this group has not been shut down is beyond me.

Having paid the original sign up fee, I nearly got scammed by a correspondent in just rooting.
I immediately closed down just rooting, the gmail address I was using and my credit card.
I am now being pestered by AUER WITTE THIEL for further payments as I did not close my account in the prescribed manner.
I have no record of user name, password etc.
How do I contact support at just rooting or Paidwings (parent company) to do the closedown as prescribed.

  12. Jason 30th August 2021 at 12:03 pm

Sadly I got sucked in.. Do they send these threatening letters via email? If I cancel and receive these letter, wht do I do. Do I ignore?

  13. Greg Halse 1st August 2021 at 5:37 pm

Yes a scam in many was, you can not contact admin to cancel but they still keep sending threatening letters and emails for payment, I was also scared by the lady’s I first spoke to months ago, it’s a major scam and they need to be stopped

  14. Murray 29th July 2021 at 6:49 pm

I couldnt log in, i tried a couple of email address, but still the same, when i clicked on the ‘i forgot pass word, i never recived a link, and not they have a lawyer after me wanting me to pay ER $107.. never..

  15. AK 9th July 2021 at 1:19 am

AK absolute scam! They continue to send me threatening debt collection agency bills even though I have repeatedly requested customer service to cancel my subscription of which I haven’t used. I will continue to seek advice from the Australian Consumer agency ACCC. Stay away from this site at all costs!!

  16. Friedrich Hans 8th July 2021 at 7:35 pm

I had a few fraudulent xxxx women contact me the last couple of days wanting to know where I lived I didn’t pay anything as soon as I joined the site I had look at it realized it was a scam and blocked the site later on I had women contacting me bye the time they had contacted me I had already forgotten about the stupid hookup site

  17. PC 19th June 2021 at 10:53 am

Agree with others – this website is a total scam! Also got lured into paying cash for nothing. Cancelled credit card afterwards to prevent any nasty re-bills and also cancelled subscription

  18. Gurdip Singh Ahluwalia 25th May 2021 at 9:11 am

How do you contact Support at Just rooting?

  19. Drew 13th April 2021 at 12:48 pm

Found it to be the same, have cancelled subscription after 2 days, will be interesting to see if they charge me next month! I found that most of the profiles are fake, promising the world, then they say you have to verify on the site before they will meet up with. It requires a credit card input, takes your money but does not allow you to continue. You have been scammed. They take the fee of $69.95 and then continue to use the card for other purchases! Luckily I used a gift card so limited funds.

  20. Steve 8th April 2021 at 8:54 pm

I made the error of taking a 3 month subscription because it offered a saving under the single month fee of A$65.00. I assumed the reduced monthly fee of $50.00 would be deducted each month. That was foolish of me and when I checked my account, the full $150.00 had been withdrawn. I was obviously using the head without the brain at the time.

  21. Ernie Goulding 25th March 2021 at 6:51 pm

I keep getting emails from Supposedly women (well they are female names) saying they found me on “just rooting”.
Obviously it is a scam. But Unfortunately some fall for it. User BEWARE.

  22. Terrence 17th February 2021 at 8:20 pm

Justrooting.com is a complete scam , trick you into membership then if you try to cancel your membership there’s no way out. They then threaten you with debt collection agency’s , I’ve been receiving these threats for over a year, they are nothing but lowlife scammers.

  23. T Mitchell 10th February 2021 at 12:46 pm

I have had the same experience as above and recieved a letter from a solicitor saying they were
going to take action for not paying them for a premium membership which I supposadly signed up to.

AUER WITTE THIEL Solicitors has sent me a letter asking me to send them
$367.84 for payment for subscription to the website for joining as a premium member or they will take
    further action.

The letter indicates they have the following details

My login details to the site
My bank details and the IP address of the device I have supposedly used.

I did not give thesite any bank details and no payments I do not recognise have
    been taken from my account
I did not subscribe to the site as a premium member

  24. D Macauley 28th January 2021 at 8:25 am

Hi, yes, exactly the same situation here. Could and would they take action?

  25. Robert Lawgall 11th January 2021 at 12:56 pm

I paid the premium on justrooting then found out all the people on there were fake i cancelled my membership thinking it would stop the 65 dollars a month but it didnt they too it out twice. So i had to block my card and get a new one , now there saying there going to take action. Scammers alright
