Report for iDates.com review
The online dating website iDates.com advertises with free registration and some good-looking profile pictures on the landing page. It seems like this might be a good and secure portal to have a chat and find a match for a date. But it turns out that this website is nothing more than a scam.
The operator of the website is the Boranu Online BV which is quite known in the online dating business. Not for excellent services or a solid offer, but for rip off. iDates.com is a fake chat scam. The member’s pool is full of fake profiles that are operated by fake operators. The user does not know about a fake chat and assumes that all profiles are real and pays money to send messages.

Details on the iDates.com review
The online dating website iDates.com looks excellent at the beginning. We see the offer of a free registration, plus the landing page shows some profile pictures of good-looking people. So we could assume that they are all real members. Plus, the landing page mentions that this dating portal is on TV commercials. So far, so good, but as we started our review and checked the website for more details, we found out nothing is good here.
The website iDates.com is a scam and advertises with wrong or at least irritating information. Registration is for free, but the use of the website is not. The user has to buy credits first to be able to send messages to others. Until this point, the site is not a scam, but the advertisement for free registration is very confusing.
Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 28/08/2023)
Boranu uses professional animators and operators for the entertainment of the Users, who are not identified separately in the system. This Service is provided in the highest quality. Real meetings are not possible with these operators. Users can only send them messages within the portal.
Now we come to the point where the rip-off happens. We checked the terms and conditions, plus we searched for reviews on the internet. Both researched ended up with the conclusion that IDates.com is a fake chat scam. The member’s pool is full of fake profiles that are operated by fake operators. The user can’t identify a fake profile, and the fake operators won’t identify themselves as a fictitious person. That means the user gets tricked and pays money for a conversation with a fake profile.
The operator of the fake chat website is the company Boranu Online BV which is in Venlo, in the Netherlands. The operator seems to be well-known on the internet for its scam dating websites. iDates.com is not the only rip-off platform but just one out of many.
The conclusion from our iDates.com review
The online dating website iDates.com is a fake chat. The user gets tricked by wrong and irritating information. After the registration, fake operators will get in touch with the user via fake profiles. But the user does not know about a moderated chat and assumes that all profiles are real. It turns out they are not. Regard to the reviews, it is not possible to find a single real person in the member’s pool.

I agree a fake site. Looks like they want to gey coins from us, the women conversion doesnt make sense
Yes I agree, I thought I was speaking to 2 geniuine women yesterday 1st April 23 my coins ran out when I was asked a question so I thought I’d just do one more £24.99 and leave it at that so I pressed that button and my phone went Bessel churning out multiple £24.99’s until it stopped at over a £1000 I just could not stop it paying out, then I look and had 8500 coins and every word I typed took out £30 within 15 minutes the coins had gone, my friend then came to see my and could see I was anxious and asked what the problem was so I told him and saw the look of shock on his face, he said get google up which I did, he said type in idates reviews so I did and my heart dropped, the site was a totall scam so many people scammed and were warning other people not to go on that site, altogether I lost £1600. Bank notified and screenshots of all the warnings and the company based in the Netherlands being investigated, I have now informed my bank I have concrete evidence in screenshots of the scam
