However, from that point on we had to juggle a bit in order to view the members’ area. It is positively surprising that our bland profile didn’t receive any attention. The only exceptions were the special subscription offers, clearly sent by the system. From our experience, a subscription scam in this space normally presents you with a special offer to try out the service. However, it is worded in such a way that makes it technically impossible to cancel.

Traps like these can normally be read in the terms and conditions, but we couldn’t find any here. Fraudulent dating platforms tend to include any problematic cancellation policies in their T&C, as a way to create a legal loophole. In this particular case, the recurring billing system is sufficiently clear and fair, and we couldn’t find anything fishy about GaySeniors.com.au. Although we normally wouldn’t recommend Infinite Connections LTD, from London UK, this may be a different situation. Eventually, more explicit messages were received by our boring profile, but these were clearly marked as advertisement.

Likely real users
