FoxyBunch.com claims to be a solid online dating portal. But on the internet, the reputation of this site is not good. We found reviews about a scam with a subscription trap and a fake chat. Apparently, this website is full of fictional profiles which are controlled by bots. However, this is already mentioned on the landing page.

The operator of this site claims that the purpose of the computer-generated virtual profiles is your “entertainment”. But the actual goal of moderation is to increase the income of the operator. High costs will occur for a premium-membership that will extend automatically if it is not cancelled in time. That is used as a subscription rip-off. FoxyBunch.com looks like a normal online dating portal. On the landing page, we see an image of an attractive woman. Plus, we see the screen for free registration. Further information about the site and its service is not offered. Except for one more piece of information. The online dating portal uses computer-generated virtual profiles for your entertainment. That might not sound bad. But this is a bad thing, as far as we are concerned. After the registration, you can chat with other profiles which is the fictitious content of this site.

An expensive entertainment service

The online dating portal FoxyBunch.com offers free registration. But we found out that high costs will occur right after that. A new member receives a free basic-membership. But that kind of membership is useless. The free registration is a misleading piece of information. That is not a good sign. This website is also full of fake profiles which show fictional people. A date in real-life is not possible. Normally we would call dating sites like this a scam with a fake chat. But here, the operator admits the use of fake profiles on the homepage.

On the landing page, we found a statement which explains the use of computer-generated virtual profiles. So, the user can spot the moderated chat before the actual registration. On the one hand, that is a good thing and fair of the operator. On the other hand, this website is not worth your time and money. After the registration, a new member will receive many messages that come from fictional profiles which are controlled by computer programs. That does not sound good at all.

The chance of finding a real match here is likely to be zero, according to reviews on the internet.

So, the user might assume that some profiles are real and not moderated. But according to the information on the internet, that assumption is wrong. All profiles are fake and have the purpose of persuading new members to spend money.

There is a second part to this cheeky scam. A premium-membership is needed which will extend automatically if it is not terminated in time. According to reviews by former users, the automatic renewal is used as a trap. Former users had the experience that the operator of the site ignores or denies cancellations. So, the expensive membership will continue for a while, according to the details on the web. It is a rip-off with a subscription trap.

That is quite normal.  But this operator makes the termination difficult. Also, this website is a fake chat. All profiles are fake and controlled by bots. The only good thing here is that moderation is already mentioned on the landing page.
