Report for Flirt.com.au review

Flirt.com.au is an Australian dating site which advertises with a free registration and claims to be a great place for flirting. You can flirt with the other members of this site, but it seems impossible to date them in real life. The reason for this is the use of fake profiles. In the terms and conditions, we find a statement which says the member profiles may not be genuine. The operator of the site, Venntro Media Group LTD, based in Slough, is known for their fake chat scams.

Flirt.com.au is a costly entertainment service, to put it nicely. You can only chat with the other members if you spend money, either for virtual credits or a full membership. The full membership renews automatically and is difficult to cancel. Since you are supposed to pay a lot of and get nothing in return, we just cannot recommend using this site.

Details on the Flirt.com.au review

On the landing page Flirt.com.au presents itself as the right place for flirting with fun. It does not matter if you want to be naughty or nice, this site can give you what you want. We do not doubt that you can have fun flirting here. However, sending messages costs you money, which is why flirting can become extremely expensive. In fact, the operator wants you to spend a lot of your money on this site. To make a profit, fake profiles are used to trick the users.

Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 21/07/2021)

The Site is an entertainment service. Your use of this service is entirely at your own risk […] By using this service you accept that any member profiles, messages and communication may not be genuine.

The notorious Venntro Media Group LTD

It seems that the operator is warning the readers about some of the member profiles. This statement is not the only reason we consider this site to be a scam. Flirt.com.au is operated by Venntro Media Group LTD, a company based in Slough, in the United Kingdom. Although we cannot find any user reviews for this site, this English operator has received countless complains. The former users do not only complain about the existence of fake profiles but also about a subscription rip-off.

On this site you need virtual “credits” to send messages to the other members. This means that long conversations are also more expensive. We suspect that the fictive profiles send computer-generated messages to keep the conversations going. However, it could also be the case that these profiles are taken over by fake chat operators. These are company employees who can manipulate the users in the chat.

The full membership that does not seem to end

Rather than just paying with coins for every single message, users can also purchase a full membership which grants several benefits for a longer period. You should know that this membership is a subscription and renews automatically until cancelled. Several users report that cancelling is made difficult. Furthermore, the operator seems to charge the users too much money. Therefore, we consider Flirt.com.au to be a fake chat scam as well as a subscription rip-off.

The conclusion from our Flirt.com.au review

Our experience with Flirt.com.au, an Australian dating site, was negative. There are far better and cheaper alternatives on the internet. The high cost of chatting is not our only concern. We dislike how the operator uses fake profiles to trick the users into thinking that spending their money on this site is worth it.

Updates

16.01.2024

Based on our past review, Flirt.com.au has remained unchanged. The operator, Venntro Media Group LTD, based in the UK, continues to run a fake chat scam using fictional profiles. The website’s terms and conditions outline that the platform is for entertainment only. Users are not guaranteed that the profiles are genuine; thus, this site cannot facilitate in-person meetings.

All aspects of the landing page, privacy policy, and other legal documents have not changed. Users are still required to purchase virtual credits to message others on the platform. We therefore maintain our view and advise users to stay away from this platform.

Fake accounts with pictures ripped off from Instagram. When you flag the fake accounts, the admin says they are verified! Some of the accounts try to lead you to other sites. The conversations are generic and when you ask how the weather is, they can't answer because they are obviously in another country.

Luck

100% fake profiles and money scam. Just realized they were biting from my card small amounts, in 6 months got charged around 230 Eur. The issue is, how can the internet user can escape these kind of scams? How can the website and other like this can get banned?
