The online dating platform EroticClick.com is available in many different countries and offers free registration. The registration process is quick. You see many profiles once you enter the member area. You also find messages in your inbox, apparently from interested girls, right after your registration. But to start chatting, you must verify your email address first.

In the Terms and Conditions, we discovered that we must buy “coins” to use the chat function. These coins can be purchased in packages on the website. All this is very common for a rip-off. We did some research about the operator, Meet Us Media LTD, from Nicosia, in Cyprus. We found some bad reviews. This company is known for scams, and our experience confirms that too. They already manage many other websites and use the same procedures and types of scam.

Fake profiles

Our test profile started receiving messages and attention. This is clear evidence of a fake chat, as we have not added any profile information yet. In the Terms and Conditions, we find out that the company creates “system profiles” to chat with users. They argue that in this way they can give a better entertainment experience to the user.

Another point about this scam is that it is not allowed to have physical contact with the person behind the system profile. So, the person you are messaging to can be anybody. But it is surely not the person it is supposed to be in the profile photo, or the one you are looking for.

The Company operates system profiles (i.e. profiles connected to Accounts which have been created by the Company and which are either operated by contractors of the Company who impersonate the persons portrayed in such profiles or by a system designed to interact with users) and expressly reserves the right to chat with users through such system profiles in order to enhance the users’ entertainment experience. Physical contact with individuals behind such system profiles is strictly prohibited.

Waste of money and time

Concluding from our results, you spend money on coins, and time on texting. However, it is already clear from the beginning that you cannot meet any person in real life. This is the purpose of registering on such a website. Furthermore, it will not be the person as per their profile. This is not the experience you want to have, especially if you are paying for it. This website is a rip-off.
