To buy 70 credits, which equates to 7 messages, a user must spend $20.00. There are also packages for $50.00 and $100.00. These give users 20 and 48 messages, respectively. However, the biggest package costs $200.00, and allows members to send up to 99 messages.

Members pay this amount to chat, and to meet the profiles in person. However, they are a rip-off because the profiles are fictitious. It is impossible to set up physical appointments. Some members may continue buying credits, as the fake profiles lead them on, and increase their hopes of a meet-up. To make it worse, DownUnderFlirting.com distances itself from any liability for any misleading information that a user accesses. Therefore, users will find it difficult to recover the money they used, even if they file a complaint.
