The online dating website BDSMChat.co.za specifically targets South Africa’s BDSM and fetish-community. Allegedly, one can easily meet like-minded people and arrange kinky adventures here. However, our review clearly shows that the site is not a good choice. In fact, it is just a scam with a subscription rip-off. To be able to communicate with other members via the chat, a paid premium-membership is needed. Consequently, these premium-subscriptions are repeatedly extended automatically, and are extremely difficult to cancel.
Hence, users inevitably end up in a costly subscription trap. Moreover, the members’ area is full of fake profiles, and the chances of meeting any real BDSM-enthusiasts here are very low. Do not waste your time trying. BDSMChat.co.za is run by Infinite Connections LTD, from Quebec, Canada. They run a huge network of scam websites and have earned an extremely poor reputation over the years.

The online dating platform BDSMChat.co.za goes for a specific target group. It is aimed at South Africa’s BDSM and fetish-community. The website advertises with free registration, plenty of interesting features, and a large member base. At first glance, it appears to be a great place to meet like-minded people, who are interested in meeting up for some naughty BDSM-experience.
As usual, we needed to find out whether the site could be recommended or not. So, we created a free test account, studied the terms and conditions, then searched the internet for user experiences and reviews. Sadly, the results of our research were rather dispiriting. BDSMChat.co.za turned out to be a scam.
Subscription rip-off
The free basic-membership is not very useful. The most crucial tool to get in touch with other members is the chat feature, but to unlock it, users are required to purchase a premium-membership. However, the offered premium-subscriptions are dangerous. They always extend with no notice, and must be cancelled on time to avoid recurring payments. Despicably, the site’s operator is infamous for making it extremely complicated for users to cancel them. This is done so that the operators can get as much money out of each customer.
For entertainment and amusement purposes only
On top of the subscription rip-off, there is yet another major problem. The members’ area is filled with fake profiles, which are presumably created and controlled by the site’s staff. So, it is simply impossible to arrange actual real-life encounters with these “members”. As we see it, these fake profiles are solely used to lure new users into the paid membership subscriptions as quickly as possible.
