But after taking a closer look at the terms and conditions, it turns out to be a rip-off with a fake chat.Sending chat messages to other members costs is expensive. These are created and controlled by employed fake chat operators and bots. So, the entire chat experience is completely pointless and can never result in an actual date. Moreover, it advertises with free registration, a safe and secure environment, and thousands of members.
To find out if AustralianLocals.com is truly such a good choice, we did some research. First, we created a free profile, tested the site’s features, and carefully read the terms and conditions. Then, we searched the web for user reviews and gathered some information about the site’s operator. Sadly, our research shows that AustralianLocals.com is not an honest online dating platform. It is just a cheeky fake chat scam.
Incredibly expensive and entirely pointless
Unlike the registration, using the chat feature is not free. In fact, it is extremely expensive. To get started, users must purchase so-called “credits”, which are offered in various bundles. Then, these “credits” can be exchanged for sending chat messages to other members. Depending on the chosen bundle, each sent chat message will cost between $1.90 and $2.67, which is outrageously expensive.
Unfortunately, spending any money on this website is a waste. According to the terms and conditions, the members’ area only contains fictional members, who can never be met in real life. The displayed fake profiles are created and controlled by employed fake chat operators, as well as bots. So, the overpriced chat experience is totally pointless.

7.3 The Website uses fictitious profiles for testing behavioural/social studies and for digital fantasy chat purposes. The profiles posted on the Website are fictitious and are associated with this digital Fantasy chat service.

The operator of AustralianLocals.com is CH Tel communication AG, who are based in Baar, in Switzerland. They run numerous other scam dating websites and regularly receive negative online reviews from disappointed users. As we see it, they do not sufficiently inform their users about the fact that there are no real members on their sites. So, users are being tricked and ripped-off.

AustralianLocals.com is a rip-off with a fake chat scam. Users must pay a lot of money for every single message they send in the chat. Finding a genuine person is impossible. The members’ area only contains fake profiles, which are created and controlled by employed fake chat operators. Thus, all members are fictitious and can never be met in person.

According to our past assessment, AustralianLocals.com is a scammer that uses a fake chat service. Unfortunately, this has remained the case to date. The excerpt from the terms of service still states that this website is only for adult entertainment and employs a digital Fantasy chat service that includes false profiles and animators that customers will never meet in person. Some minor aspects of the website, such as the landing page design and payment methods, remain the same, despite the ownership shift.
Medilux Media Solutions LTD, located in Essex, England, is the new operator, replacing CH Tel Communication AG, based in Baar, Switzerland. In light of this update, our prior review has been adjusted. However, this English-based operator is still a scammer.
