Report for AboriginalDatingSite.com.au review
AboriginalDatingSite.com.au is a dating platform with a precise target: The Aboriginal Australian community. According to this portal, it is possible to find aboriginal men or women who come from the main cities of Australia or even from the more remote areas of the country. The company FBM Online Connections LTD, located in Greater London, UK, proclaims this dating site as the best one there is to search for the ideal aboriginal partner. Therefore, users should not have to waste time to start their experience with the site right away.
The left side of the landing page displays the sign-up box for free registration while an image of a happy couple can be seen on the right. Within minutes, we completed the registration process by filling in the required information, which gave us a profile in return. We then had to wait for it to be verified. Since there was a verification process, we thought this would guarantee the best possible experience for all users looking for a perfect partner on AboriginalDatingSite.com.au. However, after extensive research, we found that AboriginalDatingSite.com.au orchestrates a subscription rip-off and does not keep its promises.

Details on the AboriginalDatingSite.com.au review
For the Aboriginal community, the site AboriginalDatingSite.com.au seems like a great place to meet people who share the same culture. The site looked encouraging so far, so we kept going with our review to see if everything was really in order as it appeared to be. After the general explanation of what we could find on this site was given on the homepage, we noticed a disclaimer in small print. It is wise to make sure we read everything. Even the tiniest of text in order to avoid a possible rip-off.
In fact, it was as we suspected. We found the first red flag: free access and full use of the site’s basic features are guaranteed for activities such as creating or editing profiles, searching for users, and sending flirts. However, if users want access to a wider range of features, they must purchase a subscription. In addition, it’s highlighted that once users have consented to the terms of the registration, their profile will be publicly displayed on several other sites belonging to the same network. We quickly realised that something was not right, so we read the T&C carefully.
Beware of the auto-renewal policy
Sadly, we realised the kind of scam behind this site as it was clearly reported in the Terms & Conditions that having a subscription is required if we really want to access all the features of the platform. The service operator FBM Online Connections LTD located in Greater London, UK also admits to using an automatic renewal policy, which can only be cancelled at least 24 hours before the subscription plan expires. At this point, it was clear to us how the subscription rip-off is structured.
Excerpt from the Terms & Conditions (as of 31/08/2023)
All subscription fees and other fees are all inclusive and include any VAT in the price. Please note that WE USE AN AUTOMATIC RE-BILL CYCLE ACCORDING TO YOUR SELECTED PAYMENT OPTION. When you purchase a one-month or shorter subscription to the Site, unless you cancel such membership at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to its expiration, your subscription will automatically renew at the then current monthly subscription rate […].
[…]A signed written notice of such cancellation (which includes your username and the email address used to register for the Services) must be sent by certified mail or personally delivered to our mailbox[…].
You must cancel your subscription at least twenty-four (24) hours before your monthly anniversary date to avoid being charged for another month of subscription fees.[…]
When time is against you
Former users of the websites that are owned by the operating company stated that there were problems with cancelling subscriptions. The time limit required for cancellation is also an additional scam. Moreover, for residents of the countries listed in the Terms & Conditions, they are free from any obligations and penalties, and have the right to send a cancellation request within 3 working days from when they became a subscriber. While for users living outside these countries, nothing is specified.
The conclusion from our AboriginalDatingSite.com.au review
At what first in our review seemed like a promising platform for the Aboriginal Australian community, AboriginalDatingSite.com.au turned out to be a total scam. The user is likely to fall into this trap made up of automatic renewals, which most of the time is difficult to get out of. Indeed, companies like these take advantage of the fact that many users will not be able to cancel the subscription in time and so their wallets will be inflated by the money taken from the users’ cards.
