Having arrived at the 50sLove.co.nz site, our thoughts were that it was a good site, but is not that attractive. However, if you are fifty-plus, this could be perfect for you, because it is plain and straightforward, which some people love. The site’s operator is Alpha Internet Services GmbH, from Innsbruck, in Austria. This site turns out to be a rip-off, so we have no choice but to say nothing positive about this site. Even though the site says it is free to sign up, this is not one hundred percent true.
Going through the Terms and Conditions, we came across some very interesting statements. These gave us the proof needed to confirm what we thought about this site. It is a fake chat! The fact is that the site has animators who are paid to motivate others to keep talking on the site. These operators act like they are single women, who are looking for a date. This is straightforward proof of the scam. We get even more confirmation when it states that nobody can meet anyone in person. This should signal a huge red flag to most people.
Once signed up on the site, and you go to the membership page, you instantly receive messages, even without doing anything. Most of these messages have no pictures on the profile. This is not a very good sign. When people join a site, they expect to see lots of women's pictures, which you do not get on this site.
The following is stated in the terms and conditions
The user/member is also aware that 50sLOVE uses so-called animators to motivate users/members to communicate interactively. These are real people however, the user/member is aware that he cannot meet the animators in real life. Both users and members can contact the animators at any time either write to them proactively or get contacted by them to communicate with them through the website.
Not so free
In our experience, once you are past the sign-up page, and into the member's area, you can become a premium member. This means it is no longer free. If you simply want to message anyone on the site 50sLove.co.nz, you must pay a substantial amount of money. To us, this is like a rip-off scam, as it is supposed to be free. If you stick to the normal membership, you cannot message anyone. Once you sign up for a premium subscription, you can then send messages. It also states in the Terms and Conditions that there are two membership options.
