It emerged that LoveVoodoo.com is operated and owned by Social Media Marketing LLC. This website does not indicate the owner’s location other than stating this is in the United States. Copyright research revealed Social Media Marketing LLC is located in Kennar, Louisiana.

LoveVoodoo.com is an Internet-based social networking, introduction and dating service offering online gay, lesbian, bisexual and heterosexual social networking services. After conducting further research, which involved searching the internet for past user experiences and examining the site’s terms and conditions, we found this site to be an expensive subscription scam and rip-off.

A cursory look at LoveVoodoo.com, owned by Social Media Marketing LLC of Kennar, Louisiana, suggests the user interaction experience it offers may be legitimate, but the subscription experience is not. The members’ section allows users to search the site using filters based on location, single or married status, orientation, photo, cam or other interest. Subscription fees range from 3 days for US$ 3.99 to 3 years for US$ 279.00. A subscription is recurring unless canceled 2 days before it expires by notifying CCbill.com, which suggests a subscription scam might be perpetrated.

We carried out an internet search to see what we could discover in relation to complaints against LoveVoodoo.com and the user experience it offers. Thus if a user paid for the introductory 3-day offer, they would have to cancel this on the same day they took the subscription out to comply with the cancelation deadline policy.

Hard to cancel

As the user mentioned above discovered, neither CCBill.com nor LoveVoodoo.com can be relied on to help a user cancel their recurring subscription in a timely manner. If a user had taken out the US$ 279 subscription option and could not cancel it, the cost would be significant if it recurred despite their efforts to cancel it. The website owner is clearly unethical and preys on users attempting to connect with other members to enjoy an authentic relationship experience.

In summary, LoveVoodoo.com is a subscription scam and rip-off in which the managing company offers recurring subscriptions that require members to contact CCBill.com to stop their subscriptions from being renewed. However, CCBill.com is not trustworthy when it comes to responding, and LoveVoodoo.com does not help users with cancelation. This site is extremely expensive if a subscription is extended against the user’s wishes. The company clearly cheats members seeking to use this website to find a relationship for its own profits, subjecting them to a subscription scam and rip-off.
