    Report for AbsoluteCougars.com review

The dating site AbsoluteCougars.com advertises with a free registration and numerous mature women to chat with. Photos of several female members are shown on the front page to make signing up more appealing. We register to get to know the other members better. It turns out that we cannot use the chat without paying. A VIP membership is necessary to read and send chat messages.

We also find out that AbsoluteCougars.com is operated by NetFanPix Ltd based on the Isle of Man. This company that has received several negative reviews. Evidence suggests that the members’ area of this site mostly consists of moderated fake profiles. They send several messages to users to make them upgrade their membership for money. This is how most fake chat scams work.

    Details on the AbsoluteCougars.com review

We like the user-friendly landing page on AbsoluteCougars.com. The operator makes clear that this is not the place to fall in love. Instead, this is the right dating site for young men who want to have fun with experienced cougars. All of this seems too good to be true. However, you never really know who you are chatting with. Many of the other member profiles are fake and their messages are not sincere.

In many cases, dating sites which work with a fake chat scam mention the use of fictive profiles in the terms and conditions. This is not the case here. But we still have every reason to question the legitimacy of the other member profiles. Every newly registered user is greeted with several messages. Even a profile photo is not necessary to receive the attention. This seems rather odd, but there is a logical explanation for all of this.

The truth about the incoming messages

The other members are not real, their profiles are fake. They are either fake chat operators, real employees chatting with the users, or bots. They send computer generated messages to initiate conversations. We keep on receiving messages, but we cannot see what they say. If we buy a VIP membership, we can read and send messages. This is exactly what the operator wants us to do, hence the use of moderated fake profiles.

The different membership packages differ in length, but they all have something in common. A cancellation is necessary to stop the membership from renewing automatically. AbsoluteCougars.com might not be an obvious subscription rip-off, but you must be careful about the period of notice.

    Our experience with NetFanPix Ltd

NetFanPix Ltd is responsible for all of this. The site’s operator from Douglas on the Isle of Man, runs a network which consists of several scam dating sites. In the past we have published reviews for sites that belong to this operator from the island in the Irish Sea. This is a rather suspicious location for a company that wants to be taken seriously.

The conclusion from our AbsoluteCougars.com review

AbsoluteCougars.com is full of fake profiles that want to lure you into purchasing a VIP membership. Since the other members are not genuine, signing up on this dating site is certainly not the right decision. This is not our first experience with a rip-off operated by NetFanPix Ltd. The operator also works with an automatic renewal function that can easily make you lose even more money.
